AARP ELDERWATCH IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE AARP INFORMATION CENTER ANNOUNCES THE INAUGURAL FIGHT FRAUD- SHRED INSTEAD EVENT.

Denver- AARP ElderWatch and the AARP Information Center are pleased to announce the inaugural Fight Fraud- Shred Instead event, a unique opportunity for older Coloradans to safely shred their personal and financial information. 

“Identity theft is the fastest growing crime, everyone needs to be aware of how important it is to shred their personal and financial documents. The simple action of shredding your document can greatly reduce your risk of identity theft,” says Amy Nofziger, AARP ElderWatch Director.

The Fight Fraud- Shred Instead event is scheduled for October 31 and will be held at AARP Information Center in the Sunset Plaza Mall, 1117 S. Prairie Ave, 81005.  The event is free of charge and runs from 11am-1pm. Mobile Record Shredders will be onsite with their shredding truck.
